Inventory System Features
(The examples below will focus on work trucks, but will work as well for other commercial equipment e.g. farm vehicles, construction vehicles, ...)

  • Vehicle Types - First we work with you to determine the vehicle types you want to include in your inventory.
    (Below are examples of work truck types. A vehicle can be included in multiple vehicle types.)

  • Searchable Features - Next we work with you to determine the searchable features. A searchable feature is a feature that adds capability and value to a vehicle. Your inventory can be searched for these features and will return all vehicles that have features matching the selected searchable feature(s).

  • Vehicle Facts - Then we work with you to determine the vehicle facts that are of value to a commercial buyer.
    • Miles or Hours
    • Exterior Color (There can be a default value, if there is a common answer for the fact e.g. white, green, ...)
    • GVWR (There can be a drop down for facts having a limited range of answers, e.g. Class 1, Class 2, ...)
    • Cruise
    • Wheelbase
    • Air Brakes (There can be a Yes or No option, for these type of facts.)
    • and so on...
  • Media Options - Each vehicle's showcase page can include the following:
    • Up to 48 images
    • 1 Video Link. We do not host videos, but we can link to sites that do, like YouTube.
    • 1 Brochure Link
  • Quick Quote Results -This option can be used to email a quote directly out of the inventory. The quote will include specific information about the vehicle, so no misunderstandings occur.

  • On Sale Pricing Routine -This routine adds a sale price to a vehicle. It also offers an automatic expiration date, at which time the vehicle will return to its original price.

  • Sold Routine - The "Sold" routine will continue to show sold vehicles, but with a "Sold" banner. You can determine how long each truck will remain in the inventory before it is automatically removed.

    Add-On Options (options are individually priced, call for details):


  • Sales Log - The sales log is a simple, but effective tracking system for your commercial sales. It includes an "Archive" inventory that lets you view the details of the sold truck, including pictures.

  • Data Feed Option - Many advertising websites accept an automatic inventory update, via data feed, like Commercial Truck Trader. The data feed we send can be customized to meet the needs of the receiving website.(2)

  • Reconciliation Reporting - Some advertising companies, like Truck Paper, will not accept an inventory update, they only accept a manual update. However, often these companies will offer a data feed of your inventory out of their system. For these companies we can create a reconciliation report. This report can compare their inventory, with your inventory in our system, highlighting the differences. The report below shows a truck missing from Truck Paper (stk# FE516908) as well as the main inventory (stk# FE516797).
  • Reconciliation Report

  • Multiple-Site Dealerships - This features is for dealerships that have multiple commercial dealerships. Each individual dealership will have and control their own inventory system. These individual dealership inventories will then be consolidated into a single group inventory for advertising and management purposes.

  • Personal Inventory - A personal inventory is for salespeople who do a lot of prospecting and account development and want to make sure they are rewarded with the results. A personal inventory is a complete inventory of the dealership's commercial trucks, but all contact information for that inventory is the salespersons. The banner can include their picture and direct phone number. All emails from that inventory will be to their email address. The link above is an example of a personal inventory, and in this case it is also for a specialized vehicle type. This is a live website, so the inventory will fluctuate.

  • Website Design and SEO Tuning - If you need more than just an inventory system, AIT offers website design that will meet your specific needs. It also includes SEO tuning for your location, vehicle types and any industrial specialties

  • Mobile View Inventory - The Mobile View is optimized for cell phone and iPad viewing, which offers many advantages:
    • More buyers are using their cell phone to view vehicles. Mobile View is designed for that type of buyer.
    • A QR code can be added to any display ad and when scanned will show a mobile optimized view of the inventory.
    • Combined with the Personal Inventory option mentioned above, a QR code can be added to a person's business cards and they can even have a personal App for their cell phone.

  • Addendum Sticker Printing - Typically this is a new truck routine, but this sticker can work as well for pre-owned as well. The sticker shows details about the vehicle and dealership. The price is optional. If combined with Mobile View, then a QR code can be included on the sticker. When the QR is scanned it will show your commercial inventory.

    Stand Alone Options (options are individually priced, call for details):


  • Ready To Roll Inventory - This stand alone inventory includes chassis and upfit trucks that are ready to be sold. All dealership information has been removed from the truck ads in this inventory, so you can feel comfortable showing these trucks to your buyer, should they not find what they are looking for in your inventory. This is expressly designed to generate leads for your dealership, but there is no requirement for you to sell the truck a buyer might find in the inventory.
  • Ready-To-Roll Inventory

  • Addendum Sticker - Although this is typically an Add-On option for our inventory system, it can also be a stand alone routine. Typically this is a new truck routine, but this sticker can work as well for pre-owned as well, as it shows details about the vehicle and dealership. The price can be included, but is optional
